About ISMRF
Many SMRs are envisioned for niche electricity or energy markets where large reactors would not be viable. SMRs could fulfill the need of flexible power generation for a wider range of users and applications, including replacing aging fossil power plants, providing co-generation for developing countries with small electricity grids, remote and off grid areas, and enabling hybrid nuclear/renewables energy systems. Through modularization technology, SMRs target the economics of serial production with shorter construction time. Near term deployable SMRs will have safety performance comparable or better to that of evolutionary reactor designs.
With reference to the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan", China's nuclear power construction will enter the peak of development with the push of policy. However, the current domestic safety review for small reactors has not been completed yet. In the international market, the United States, the United Kingdom, South Korea, and Russia all vigorously promote the development and the deployment of small reactors. As a result, International cooperation in technology and supervision will build a good foundation for SMR's future. 
"The 4th Annual International Small Modular Reactor Development Forum 2018" (ISMRF2018) will be held in Shanghai during Oct 24 to Oct 25, 2018. The conference is hosted by INNCH International Co., Ltd. The purpose of ISMRF2018 is to release the latest update of technology collaboration, accelerate the diversified development of nuclear power, and stimulate business partnership. Over 180 representatives from government regulators, research institutes, EPC companies, NPP operators, and qualified vendors will participate in the event and hold further discussions on a series of hot topics, like regulations, design standards, site selection, licensing, equipment and material requirement, new project progress and application prospect, etc.
